Hi, my name is Axelle and I like to photograph mostly things, very often in a city because I have mainly lived in big cities -mostly Paris- which has shaped my view of the world. There is some inevitable randomness in what I photograph so far: I definitely have a special taste for things and cityscapes. But I also like taking photos in the countryside when I get the chance. I am now based in Florence in Italy so I should have opportunities to take shots of the Tuscany countryside and force my photography to evolve.
Sometimes people appear in my photos but mainly as figures. I like when the city is almost desert except for some figures which enter the photo as forms more than people. Faces are always very distant. I do not tell story so much - and maybe I should work on that.
This is how I would resume my photography: forms and figures: I try to capture the contrast of lights and shadows on immobile things. If you’d like to have a look at my blog, please visit axelleaflorence.tumblr.com

EDBZ

My name is Emmanuel Debuire Baratz, I’m a photographer and art professor at Paris. Through my work, I try to highlight all those little things that you come across without really notice, these intangible moments that have great beauty. My background in graphic art has guided my work to photo retouching, more and more subtle until recently I turn to work in single shot.

I’ve got a plane to catch

My name is Lili and I live in Toronto, Canada. I have always been involved in Visual Arts in one way or another in my lifetime, but in the last few years, my interest in photography has grown appreciably along with my passion for travel. Street photography is of particular appeal to me - I love to capture that quirky moment or unexpected treasure. As I travel the world and wander the streets, I look to discover the beauty in things I may have passed a hundred times before. This is what makes my camera such an amazing friend to have along for the ride… A quick snap and that hidden beauty is revealed and shared with others.

Photo Motif

I’m a woman, I’m a wife, I’m a mother. I´m not young, I´m not old. I´m a Berliner. I´m Anja.
I like to take photos. Snapshots and photographs of landscapes, architecture, people and many other things that inspire me. I like to experiment with colours, texture, lighting and context.
I try to capture the right moment. I try to express my feelings, my emotion, my thoughts in a photograph and share it.
With my photography I want to share with other people my interpretation, my vision, and hope they can see the same things inside my images that I do. If I can ask questions or tell stories then I have been successful.

Cederik Leeuwe | Belgo-Dutch photographer from Namur, Belgium
Since I came to photography because I couldn’t paint or draw, most of my early work revolves around illustration and digital experimentations (#artwork). Alongside the artistic endeavors, I’ve worked a lot shooting live events, mostly concerts. After graduating however, the need to create illustrations receded and I’ve been oscillating between these roots and photo-journalism ever since.
Last year, I auto-published a book comprising a selection of 120 pictures taken in Japan over a two year time span. I am currently seeking funding to complete projects that I’ve started there. I’ve also got a project involving Iceland, but as of today, Japan has got my undivided attention.
When not on assignment or working for personal projects, I am a photographer of the mundane and uninteresting aspects of daily-life. I have developed a deep love for B&W and I also still shoot analog and process films myself. Recently, I’ve been dabbling with cinemagraphs.

Wanderlust

An amateur, I have been fascinated by camera and photography since childhood. My dad allowed me to use his camera to take pictures at an age when I couldn’t even hold the Canon properly. It was exciting for me every time I an opportunity to use the camera. After finishing a film (typically 36 exposures) dad had to send it to the next town for development, and I had to wait for days before I could see the prints of images that I captured. Years ago that was the start of a very satisfying journey. On and off most of my life I have explored my interest by clicking a shutter button and taking pictures. It is still a joy to review an image after capturing it, although today it is much easier as I use digital cameras.
Cheers.

Hello. My name is Kenneth Møller. I’m 39, have a wife and three kids and I live in Denmark.
It might sound incredibly pretentious, but I honestly believe my obsession with photography comes from a vain attempt at trying to preserve all the beauty and chaos that is life around me. Small details and grand views of this brief time we get to spend on this piece of rock spinning through space. So much beauty, so much light, so many shadows, so much color, so many people, so many interactions, so little time. A photograph might not be the truth. But it is a moment in time, captured by one human being for others to see and experience. And that is an amazing thing.
