Benjamín Esteban

Hello, my name is Benjamin. I study engineering but my main hobby and passion is photography. Since childhood, the power to explain the world through photographs has fascinated me.     My beginnings are with cellphone cameras and I’m now with a Canon 700D. My favorite lens is a 44 mm f2 Zenit, allowing me to participate more in the process of the photo, manually adjusting most commands.     Anyway; my life revolves around photography and I hope to convey the beauty of the photographs to others.

MAAT + MICA

Hi, I’m Emma
I’m a city-girl who’s spent most of my life living in London & Paris working as an art director, illustrator & photographer. One year ago made a big life-style change & moved to the mountains where I happily live with my lovely Fuji XE-2 + my 35mm f/1.4 lens, which is a great camera & light enough for me to carry up a mountain. I’m constantly inspired by the open-spaces & raw nature of my new habitat…
My everyday rule = never-go anywhere without my camera & my lipstick.

Digan Whisky by Nicolas Besser

I live in Talca, Chile and I travel through this region during vacations. I have been in places such as Torres del Paine, San Pedro de Atacama, or La Carretera Austral, I like to take photographs of landscapes, macro photography, nature and black and white. I don´t like to edit my pictures; I believe in keeping the picture as it was taken, but sometimes I change it to black and white.

David Jackbarry Karnezos

I am a 23 year old Photographer on the run. Raised in Zambia, educated in South Africa and presently in Vietnam. I am constantly learning how to translate my experiences through photography into a universal language. A language of genuine re-experience for the people who stumble across my images.
Raised on a wildlife sanctuary, I have a burning passion for conservation and nature. Coupled with this is a childlike view of the world as a borderless map. Driven to see what’s on the other side of the horizon, I keep on moving.

No Edit Friday

tvoom:

…or as lovely Andrea (eyes-like-bette-davis) likes to call it “Humiliation Friday” is a project, we decided to start on our own blogs and invite everyone to join in.

What is “No Edit Friday” about?

Simple: NO (post-)edits on your photos.
Everything is allowed, that can be achieved in camera, whatever your camera allows you to do.
If your camera has a b/w mode, use it.
If your camera has native HDR, use it.
If your camera has built in effects, use them.

Everything is allowed, what your camera provides while shooting. No(!) post processing in camera. Especially if you are shooting with a smartphone (or tablet or similar), no use of editing apps. Only effects that are applied during shooting are allowed.

The only two rules are:

* Shoot Jpeg (no RAW)
* Only resizing (and watermarks, if you use them) allowed

If you post your non-edited photos on Friday and use “no edit friday” as one of the first five (!) tags (only so we will be able to find them with the Tumblr search), you might get even featured on “PWS - Photos Worth Seeing” on the following Sunday, because we will post up to five non - edited shots.

So, if you want to, join in…

Mobileroids
Original digital work by Ariel Piluso.
This blog has become a sketch pad. From the original idea of instant digital screens it has now evolved into a place to see quick and rough phone captures edited with a number of apps/tools. A way of cooking without a recipe more like mixing lots of ready-made or instant food. A long way from the analogue capture and the darkroom days. Most enjoyable anyway.
